: your gonna have to learn how to play with out the training wheels one of these days:

OK so as stupid as it sounds! Honestly it’s true! Each of us have areas in our life where were a little shy about were afraid. Afraid of being hurt afraid on the unknown but what ever it is there is some reason that keeps us from taking off those training wheels and riding down that unknown road. Ok so you might be thinking im a crazy woman with too much time on her hands to sit back and analyze a sentence but if you think about it truly applies to our walk with Christ. During our walk all of us fall short we all go through difficulties whether its sharing the word or being dedicated to a quiet time or just truly living for him. We continually hold back as a security and just put part of our effort into living for him. Why cant we take off those training wheels and live life without fear?  Are we afraid? But honestly with Jesus by our side what’s to fear being inadequate to your peers? For they are just humans and Jesus is the son of God who died for you!!!! Do you honestly think that he doesn’t deserve your life and they do! Aren’t we all supposed to be free spirits don’t we call our selves individuals but we copy the actions of our peers and we live just as they do! Maybe you don’t fear maybe your problem is something else maybe you’re just too tired maybe later you’re comfortable just where you are. Why change when your satisfied with who you are? Ill answers that question for you! Jesus didn’t come to bring us a comfortable life. He came to save our life. Throughout my life ive learned that challenges make you stronger and what doesn’t kill you will strengthen you. You should reach out to others even if it isn’t “comfortable” for you. So I challenge you to open up your heart to let Jesus in and be a light! A light for this world! To take off those training wheels and accomplish the amazing things that God has in store for you. It’s not going to be easy at times it will be incredibly difficult but when your life is over and you see the amazing journey you completed and how incredible your life was because you gave it your all it will be worth it.

If you asked a random person what being alive was they would most likely state that being alive means that your heart is moving and your breathing. But I disagree. Life in general is not about the breathes you take nor is it about the amount of time you spend on this earth. Life is not measured by the amount of money you have or the titles that you assume. Instead life is about what you do with the time your here on earth and who you reach out to with open arms. Life is not about the materialistic items that we assume. But instead it is about the bigger picture of life  and the lives we touch while we are here. It is human nature to worry. To worry about food clothes what people think. But as hard as it is to not worry the Bible states that we shouldnt in Luke chapter 12 verse 22-31

In verse 22 and 23 says the following

22 Jesus said to his followers. " So I tell you, dont worry about the food you need to live, or about the clothes you need for your body.

23 life is more than food, and the body is more than clothes.

In those verses he states that Life is not about materialistic items of this world but somthing bigger much bigger. When we truelly step back and analize our lives you can see that most of the time we are not consintrated on the Bigger picture. And just in case you dont know what the bigger picture is ill tell you. The bigger picture is the reason for life the reason that you and I are here today. And that is for the purpose of spreading the goodnews and to show others about God and to grow in our walk with Christ. I pray for each of you and I challenge you to go and spread the word. Its not going to be easy but trust me it will be worth it just keep trying. When people pull you down get up and try again when you feel tired and think you cant go on any farther pray and remember what Jesus did for you. I love you all

God Bless

I apolgize that I have not been able to update recently! Well Im going to write something from my journal about something amazing that God taught me about a young friend that passed away this entry was prior to his death. I love you all!

10-2-05

Well just as soon as sunday arrived it was gone. Well apon arriving at church I was informed that a boy at our church was in the hospital in a coma. He just didnt wake up. This hit hard sadly it seems that Im surrounded by people who`s lives end abburptly. He`s not dead so I refuse to moarn. I didnt know him well but still God taught me an important lesson today. I went to the park to take pictures and as soon as I arrived I relized just how many different people were their. And as I looked at them I relized that to the average person they were a number, just another mindless face in the crowd, looked over by many but I decided to capture a piece of them on film. In some cultures they believe that if you take a picture of them then you capture part of there soul. Now although I dont believe that I do believe that when you take a picture of someone you capture a piece of the "real" person. All the people I took photos of were in a differnt stage in life. Gazing apon three childern playing reminded me of the inosence of a child and then right in front of me walked an old married couple leaning on eachother for support and walking hand in hand. I realized then how beautiful life is and that even when your old everyday holds its unquie andn unforgetable experiences. God is everywhere in the shadows, in the sky, in the eyes of childern but most of all in the hearts of others. For each life is like a road it can be bumby at times, smooth at others but you have to take the sharp turns and road blocks so when you road dead ends you can look back and realize the amazing journey you completed the lives you saved and most of all how you stood tall for God.

God Bless

Soon school is starting! Each one of us will go back into that building and walk the halls of people who dont know the Lord. Many of us will sit across from people who dont know Jesus and will never say a word. We never say a word to the lost because were afraid. Afraid of the outcome, afraid to stand out, to be talked about, afraid that we might be rediculed. We all like to live in what I call a bubble a safe zone. We think that the Christian life is easy and simple when in reality its the hardest thing you will ever do. God didnt promise that if we followed him that we would have an easy life with lots of money, happiness, and no sacrifices. In the book of Jeremiah the Lord comes to him and says....

The word of the Lord came to me, saying before I formed you int he womb I knoew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.  Jememiah 1:4-5

Jememiah still a kid is being told by God that he was choosen by God to be a prophet. Just like God choose Jeremiah to be a prophet he choose each one of us to do his work.

Then it goes on to say.....

Ah, sovereign Lord; I said" I do not know how to speak I am only a child." But the Lord said to me, Do not say I am only a child: you most go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you . Do not be afraid of them for I am with you and will rescue you.

Jeremiah 1:6-8

Right there God is saying to me age doesnt matter. God can use anyone for his glory. When we go back into schools this year I pray that we will go into our schools  witnessing to others and doing Gods work. Because even though it might be tough at times fufilling Gods plan and bring glory to him is the best thing we can do. Think about what you can do for your school. Im praying for you.

God Bless

Throughout life each person faces challenges and obstacles. Through these difficult times many fall short and question why this is happening to them. What many people forget is that this happened for a reason and it was in Gods plan that it happened. Many times the hardest thing that we face in life is the thing that makes us the strongest.

2 Thessalonians 1:6-7

God is just: He will pay back trouble to those who trouble you and give relief to you who are troubled and to us as well.

God is there for us when no-one else is he understands everything. God is amazing and we should thank him for our troubles instead of asking him why and blaming him. Give him your troubles and he will protect you.

2 Thessalonians 3:3

But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen and protect you form the evil one.

I am praying for each of you.

2 THessalonians 2:16

May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by the grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word.

Love,

Me
